Discipline Policies

  • Behavior Modification - model bridging, home and school
  • Parent-designed goals, rewards, and consequences
  • Guided transitions
  • Relaxation training
  • Cognitive therapy methods
  • Time-out / Time-away
  • Social skills training
  • Group counseling
  • Family counseling

 

Dress Code

  • Clean socks AND feet
  • NO tank tops
  • NO skirts
  • Stomach MUST be covered
  • NO sandals, flipflops, boots, etc.
  • Tennis shoes AND socks MUST be worn
  • Pants MUST be worn at the waist with a belt
  • T-shirts preferred
  • Athletic shorts for PE/OT is recommended
  • Hooded sweatshirt or jacket to keep at desk is recommended
  • Appropriate long pants accepted (in good condition)- jeans, khakis, sweats,etc.
  • NO cell phones, MP3 players, or any electronic devices
  • Failure to comply with dress code will result in a minimum of one (1) week mandatory uniform code. Uniform consists of polo or Oxford shirt, tucked in, khakis, belt, and dress shoes. If student cannot run one lap around the backyard with hands held overhead without pants falling down, student will be given a grass string belt and one week mandatory uniform code.

Medication

  • ALL medications need to be given to staff in ORIGINAL containers.

Lunch

  • Students need to bring easily prepared or microwavable meals with less than 6 minute cook times.
